Women Want 2 Work open for business
Women Want 2 Work held its 4th meeting on Friday 23rd October: women have come forward who really want to work, have many skills and much experience between them. They all want to work flexibly so they can still take good care of their children or because they have a health problem which restricts them.
Eight areas of business development emerged from these early discussions and it was agreed to appoint a leader for each of them. New ww2w members can join in with one of these groups or can put forward an idea of their own.
Just come along on a Friday to South Water Community Centre (behind Warrior Square train station)
Next meeting: Friday 5th November 1-3.30
NO MEETING 30th October Half term break
The business development themes are:
Textile Products
Tiling
Catering
Childcare
Crafts
Goat farming
Soap & Cosmetics
Local Meat products
